If a disease ever needed rebranding, MCS (Multiple chemical sensitivity) is it. If we place the burden of fault on the human body rather than than the companies who produce chemical irritant based products sold as ‘luxury’, ‘healthy’ ‘to kill bad smells’ and, the worst of crimes, ‘for baby’, perhaps the Government will create laws to protect us, education programs so we can also be a part of society without judgment and the need to exclude based on personal preference of fragrance choice as well as, most importantly, getting us all access to medical care.
Is it even possible to believe that in this day and age, and in Australia, that people are excluded from medical care because of air quality and doctors misperceptions (not in all cases, thankfully!)
What do you think? Do you think MCS needs a new name? Do you like the TILT Theory?

Chemical poisoning by any other name is still chemical poisoning.
Agreed!
Yes it needs rebranding, and tilt is fine. However, it’s still not telling the whole truth, which is that humans, animals, and the broader environment is being poisoned. I’d add deliberately, as it is known how toxic the chemicals are. We’re nothing more than lab rats.
