Our marine life is being choked to death at an alarming pace. How is this happening? Via plastic pollution including bottles and lids from soft drinks that end up in our pristine oceans. We won’t be bystanders to anymore dead birds on the sand.
It’s criminal. (Yeh, we’re looking at you Coca Cola and associated pollution criminals!)
More from Greenpeace:
“It’s a terrible problem — but one that we can fix if we act together.
NSW recently joined South Australia and the Northern Territory in taking on a Cash for Containers scheme to slash plastic pollution. Now it’s time for Queensland to step up.Queensland is the most littered mainland state in Australia – but together, we can change that. Call on new Environment Minister Steven Miles to support effective recycling today.”
